Pepper Chicken Recipe

This recipe is really simple to prepare and will definitely leave you wanting more.


Ingredients:

1 Kg Chicken pieces
1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
2-3 tbsp black Pepper powder
Juice of 1 lime
1 tsp Turmeric powder
Salt to taste

Method:


  • Marinate the chicken with all the ingredients except the lime juice and keep aside for some time.
  • In a hollow pan add heat some oil and add the marinated chicken along with a cup of water and cook covered on a simmered flame till the chicken is tender.

Pepper Mutton Fry Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 Kg Mutton pieces
1 large Onion finely chopped
1 1/2 Tomatoes finely chopped
1 tsp Turmeric powder
1 1/2 tbsp Black Pepper powder
1/2 Lemon
Salt to taste

Method:

Cook the mutton pieces along with the onions, tomatoes, turmeric powder and salt in a pressure cooker with a glass of water.
Cut 2 additional Onions in thin slices and fry in some oil
The add the mutton pieces first followed by the pepper powder and mix well.
Add some salt to taste and then squeeze the juice of 1/2 lemon on top of the cooked mutton.
Fry well and serve hot.

P.S: This is a dry mutton recipe which can be served along with your main course.

Mangalorean Chicken Curry Recipe

Ingredients:

1 Kg Chicken pieces
1 tbsp roasted Coriander seeds
1 tsp roasted Mustard seeds
1 tsp roasted Khus Khus (poppy seeds)
1 inch piece Ginger
6-7 Garlic cloves
10-12 Red Chillies (roasted in little oil)
1/2 Grated coconut
4 Tomatoes
2 Onions

Method:


  • Grind all the above mentioned ingredients except the Chicken and Onions, to a fine paste. You can use some water for the grinding.
  • Chop the onions fine and fry them in some oil.
  • Add 1 tsp of Turmeric powder and the ground mixture and fry for some time.
  • Then add the chicken pieces, salt as per taste and some water and cook on a simmered flame till the chicken is tender.
  • Serve hot with rice, bread or roti's.

Beef Roast Recipe

Ingredients:

1 kg Beef chunks
11/2 tbsp ginger garlic paste 
2 tbsp Black pepper powder
Juice of 1 lemon
2 tbsp Red Chilly powder
Salt to taste

Method:

Marinate the beef chunks with the above mentioned ingredients and keep aside for an hour.
Cook the marinated chunks in a pressure cooker with some water. After the first whistle, lower the flame and cook for at least 25-30 minutes and then switch the stove off.
Once the steam from the cooker has gone, keep the open cooker on a high flame till the excess water evaporates.
Cut the cooked beef chunks into thin slices and fry on a non-stick pan with very little oil.
Best when served hot.
